We're Here to Listen
Our experience enables us to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. We treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, children, adolescents, and families.
Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
At Origins Counseling Services, we will accompany you every step of your journey. Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Family counseling can be beneficial to families who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, whether biological, foster or blended families .
During challenging times, whether facing depression or anxiety, supporting a child with ADHD, or healing from trauma, turning to therapy can provide relief and support. Ayanna believes a positive therapeutic relationship is integral to effecting change.
Throughout her fifteen years of experience in counseling, Ayanna has worked with youth, adults, and families from culturally diverse populations. Ayanna provides a non-judgmental, safe environment to explore the possibility for change through individual and family therapy.
Ayanna's approach is eclectic, drawing from a range of theoretical perspectives to best meet your needs. Together, we will explore historical as well as current stressors, and identify strategies that will improve functioning and overall emotional well-being.
Shantel is a Licensed Graduate Marriage and Family Therapist (LGMFT). As an LGMFT Shantel provides a wide range of services such as mental health therapy, premarital counseling, marriage and family counseling, couples counseling, individual counseling for adults and adolescents, Christian counseling, and workshops. Shantel's preferred treatment modality is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but she also utilizes Narrative Therapy. Life can be very unpredictable and can present a number of obstacles that challenge your ability to reach your desired outcome. Although challenged with these obstacles, they can be overcome. By using a client-centered approach, we can work together to address those problem areas and rebuild them into something that you are content with.
My name is Andrea Price. I became a clinical mental health counselor because I believe families are able to heal and move forward in their therapeutic process. As a mental health counselor, I have provided treatment to adults, children, couples, and families for issues ranging from behavior, adjustment, depression, family conflict (i.e., divorce, infidelity, families with transgender children), families of addicts, post traumatic stress, religious abuse, and domestic violence. In treating clients, I have learned to treat the whole person by helping them to maintain their resiliency through proper meal planning, rest and developing an exercise regimen. I incorporate different breathing techniques and the use of all-around self-care modalities. The modalities I have been successful in incorporating into counseling are Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
My motto to live by is: “Be good to yourself! Joy is real and possible!”
